The Webster City boys soccer team continued their strong start to the season here Thursday night, besting Hampton-Dumont/CAL in North Central Conference action, 4-2. An early goal gave the Lynx (3-0 overall, 2-0 in league) the lead, as Israel Torres found the back of the net off an assist by Francisco Ramirez Carmona. GOWRIE — The Webster City girls track team secured a runner-up finish here Tuesday night at the Richard Ryan Relays hosted by Southeast Valley. The Lynx scored 98.5 points to place second behind Carroll in Class A. The B title went to South Central Calhoun.
