DES MOINES — The South Hamilton volleyball team took part in a triangular with Saydel and Nevada here Monday night. After sweeping Saydel, the Hawks dropped a Heart of Iowa Athletic Conference match to No. 15 (Class 4A) Nevada. South Hamilton (9-10 overall) used a strong closing run vs. Saydel to take the opening set, 25-20, before winning the second, 25-12. WAVERLY — The Webster City cross country team was in action here Tuesday at the Dick Pollit Invitational hosted by Waverly-Shell Rock. Tristyn Wright had six kills for Webster City, with Jaylyn Bahrenfuss adding five. Wright also tallied six assists.
