FORT DODGE – The Webster City baseball squad turns its attention to the tournament following its regular-season finale at Fort Dodge on Tuesday. A little over 24 hours after clinching a share of the North Central Conference championship, the Lynx dropped a 16-0, four-inning decision to the Dodgers. Garrett Johnson and Liam Ealy each had two hits, with Johnson scoring a run and drawing a walk. Oliver Hetland drove in Johnson for the lone run. Brody Harris, Hetland and Wyatt Gelder each recorded a single, as Holden Moore and Johnson both stole a base. On the mound, Johnson pitched all six innings, allowing just four hits. The third annual Mike Baker Memorial is on deck at the Karl Chevrolet Hamilton County Speedway. Racing action begins Saturday night at 7 p.m. Pits will open at 4 p.m., gates an hour later and hot laps hit the dirt track around 6:30 p.m. Six different classifications of racing will take place including USRA Modifieds, USRA Northern Lights Modified Series, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and Crown Vics.
