BOONE — The Webster City girls tennis team competed at the Boone Invitational here Friday, taking a pair of second-place finishes on the day. Sylvia Otteros went 2-1 at No. 2 singles to score silver, as did the doubles team of Allie Severe and Alivia Burns. CLEAR LAKE — The Webster City girls tennis team got back on track here Tuesday with a 6-3 victory over Clear Lake. Alivia Burns, Gabbie Sebert and Sylvia Otteros all picked up wins for the Lynx in singles action, including super-tiebreaker victories for Sebert and Otteros.
