LAKE CITY – One final non-district game awaits the South Hamilton football team, as the Hawks take on South Central Calhoun here Friday night.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
After getting into the win column with a dominating 52-0 victory over Panorama two weeks ago, the Hawks (1-2 overall) fell to Southeast Valley last Friday night, 54-0.
Wyatt Gelder leads with 42 carries for 394 yards and five touchdowns, with both Kash Northrop and Kaden Dean adding over 100 yards each. Gelder is averaging 9.4 yards per carry, Northrop is at almost eight and Dean over six.
Reggie Williams, a freshman, leads the defense with 11.5 tackles, as both Spencer Davis and Kyler Ziesman each have a sack.
The Titans (3-0) are coming off a 27-0 victory over IKM-Manning after topping Ridge View and Earlham. Hayden Stickrod has 231 yards rushing and two touchdowns, Cooper Nattress has 228 yards and two scores on the ground, and Brayden Werenburg has 111 and three TDs.
South Central Calhoun holds a 7-1 lead in the all-time series, with the lone South Hamilton win coming in 2022 by a final of 62-8.
