Champs crowned at Hamilton County Speedway

Fort Dodge’s Myles Michehl picked up the checkered flag and $800 at the Karl Chevrolet Hamilton County Speedway when he captured the USRA Stock Cars division this past weekend.
Michehl bested a field of nearly 20 cars, holding off Chance Larson for the win. Larson made a big move from 11th to second.
Riley Crimmins of Fort Dodge finished first in the Hobby Stocks feature event, besting Jeremy Wegner.
In the USRA Modified division, Stanhope’s Greg Elliott came out on top with a crate motor, taking the lead from Jason Hahne and holding on. Blairsburg’s Ty Griffith was the USRA B-Mod feature winner. Creston’s John Berg placing first in the Crown Vic. event.
Nearly 60 cars were in action during the Saturday night races.
Up next will be the Flaws Bros. Memorial Race on June 20.
