“Justin is a great example of a kid deciding a couple of years ago that he wanted to be good and doing everything he could to meet that goal. He has had an amazing season,” WCHS boys head coach Chad Hisler said. “Jaxon really came on at the end of the year and is a perfect leadoff guy for our sprint relays.

“Kaleb stepped and just keeps getting faster, Rylan is a special talent and the sky is the limit for him, and Daniel worked his butt off this winter and is reaping the rewards who also has a bright future.”

Alternates for the relays include Dane Hansen, Aiden Hrnicek, Jack Barner, Israel Torres and Gabe Thumma.

Grossoehme is seeded eighth in the 400 after placing 12th in the event at state a season ago. She is seeded 23rd in the 200 while Lahr is seeded 15th.

“This group of qualifiers has been so fun to coach,” WCHS girls head coach Tyler Mosbach said. “I am not sure I have been around a group that wanted to improve and work more than this one. They have truly earned this opportunity.

“I know the girls are excited to fill up some vehicles and get down there. I am expecting big things out of them.”

Relay alternates include Tessi Farley, Quinn Ruba and Ava Otteros.

Garcia qualified for South Hamilton in the 3,200 with the 23rd-best district time, as Swenson, Ferrie and Skartvedt are all in field events.
