The Webster City boys soccer team bounced back with a commanding 4-0 victory here Monday over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura.

David Villelas recorded a hat trick to lead the Lynx, as Francisco Revolorio Guinac scoring the fourth goal.

Dany Morales, Jaime Martinez Andrial and Aaron Mendoza each had an assist, as Webster City tallied 30 shots with 16 coming on goal. Villelas had eight shots, including six on goal, as Geovany Morales Lopez and Andrial each had four shots.

“It was nice to get some guys back to be able to change a couple of things up in our formation,” WCHS head coach Craig Signorin said. “Guys executed well and the back line did a great job not allowing AJ to get many looks.”

Edwin Ramos Nolasco secured two saves in 70 minutes of action in the net, with Brandon Burney playing 10 and recording one save.

“Our back line and Edwin have been keeping us in every game, but we talked about the lack of offense and goal scoring,” Signorin said. “The guys answered that.”
