MANSON — The South Hamilton track and field team took part in the Emily Markert Relays here last Thursday night hosted by Manson Northwest Webster.

Both teams recorded Top-8 overall team finishes on the night.

Benjamin Swenson led the Hawk boys, placing second in the shot put with a throw of 46-6.5. Hayden Hill was fourth in the 3,200 and Wyatt Gelder finished fifth in the 200.

Jesus Garcia had a pair of medal-winning runs, finishing fifth in the 1,600 and sixth in the 800. Titus Herrick was fifth in the discus and Davien Henderson sixth in the shot put.

For the South Hamilton girls, Tessa Skartvedt finished second in the shot put with a throw of 37-1.25.

Isabel Swenson and Stella Martensen were second and third in the high jump, as both cleared 4-10. Daytona Ferrie was fifth in the discus and Olivia Beaune sixth in the 400.
