The Webster City boys golf team placed fourth at the Woodward-Granger Invitational last week.

Ballard took home team honors, shooting a 279, as North Polk was second followed by ADM. The Comets finished just five shots ahead of the Lynx, with the Tigers three strokes better.

Dawson Bertran and Syrus Willard each carded rounds of 72 at the Woodward Golf Club to pace Webster City, as Coyce Bertran added a 75.

Matthew Tesdahl shot an 80, Dylan Schroeder carded an 85 and Joel Kasch had an 87.

The Lynx headed to the Hal Rossow Invitational this past Friday to compete at Lake Panorama National Golf Course, finishing in second place overall. Knoxville was first with a 315, as the Lynx carded a 327 to finish ahead of Panorama, Interstate 35 and several others.

Coyce Bertran and Willard led the Lynx, finishing in a tie for fourth overall with an 80. Dawson Bertran was right behind with an 82, as Tesdahl shot an 85.

Kasch and Dylan Schroeder each shot 90s.

Webster City is at Humboldt on Tuesday.
