The Webster City boys tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to North Polk here Thursday evening.
Despite not picking up a win, Lynx head coach Mark Fisher saw marked improvement from his squad.
“I thought we played our best tennis of the season,” Fisher said. “Sometimes the score doesn’t always tell the story. North Polk is a good team with a lot of veteran players. We’ve talked a lot about the process witht his group and getting better every day.
“They are always eager to learn, always wanting to improve and just a great group to work with.”
