Stuck, Harris on to state

OGDEN — The South Hamilton wrestling team pushed a pair of athletes through districts to the Class 1A state tournament here on Saturday.
Parker Stuck and Brody Harris both took runner-up finishes for the Hawks and will compete Thursday morning in Des Moines at the Casey’s Center.
Stuck locked up his state bid with a fall in 5:21 over Michael Gretillat of West Hancock in a true second after dropping a major decision to Mason Anderson of Manson Northwest Webster in the 190-pound final. He is 24-19 on the season.
Harris, meanwhile, claimed a true second match via fall in 1:45 over Gaige Tindall of West Hancock to advance. He fell to Logan Lashbrook from Janesville in the finals and is now 28-15 overall on the year.
Gaige Willis was the only other South Hamilton wrestler to place, finishing fourth at 215. He had a fall in the consolation semifinals.
Hagen Klein did pick up an 18-second fall at 120 pounds in the consolations for South Hamilton.
