DES MOINES — Parker Stuck and Brody Harris have already made their respective senior seasons memorable at South Hamilton.

The two Hawk wrestlers will finish their careers at the state tournament after securing district runner-up spots last Saturday.

The Class 1A portion of the state meet starts on Thursday at 9 a.m. inside the Casey’s Center in Des Moines.

“It great to have two guys going to state,” said South Hamilton head coach Luke Peters. “Especially after a few years of not having somebody qualify.

“They’re finishing on a high note. They worked hard all season and it’s showing.”

Stuck (24-19) has put together a strong season, punching a 190-pound state ticket. Harris (28-15) will wrestle in the 285-pound bracket.

Stuck, who is the 24th seed, will wrestle ninth-seeded senior Luke Lansing (34-12) of Springville.

Harris is the 20th-seed and will face 13th-seeded junior Maverick Kaleb (32-6) of Treynor.

Stuck has won 41 matches the past two seasons, and Harris has 40.

Starting at $3.46/week.
