South Hamilton girls earn win at home

JEWELL — The South Hamilton girls picked up a 69-37 victory over Southeast Valley here Monday night.

In the second half, the Hawks pulled away from the Jaguars, using a 39-13 run to fuel the victory.

Tessa Skartvedt scored a team-high 15 points, as Signe Swenson chipped in 11.

South Hamilton fell to Southeast Valley in the boys contest, 72-28. Luke Martensen scored 11 points and Ben Swenson had seven.

Next action for the Hawks will be Friday when they host Nevada in another doubleheader beginning at 6 p.m.
