Thunder too much for SH

DES MOINES — The South Hamilton girls fell to Grand View Christian here last Friday night, 46-21.

The Thunder used a big first and a strong fourth to secure the win.

For the Hawks, Kaylen Trask had eight points, Tessa Skartvedt recorded 10 rebounds and Isabel Swensn had six rebounds with three assists.

Allie Neuberger scored five points and had three steals and two assists.

“I thought we played some really good defense despite what the final score was,” South Hamilton head coach Mark Henderson said. “Grand View Christian has a pair of really nice guards who are hard ot defend. I thought our girls did a pretty good job on them.

“Our biggest problem continues to be turnovers. We need to get that fixed if we want to compete with the top teams in our league.”

The Hawks head to Roland-Story on Tuesday and host West Marshall Friday.

Starting at $3.46/week.
