South Hamilton boys can’t slow West Marshall

JEWELL — The South Hamilton boys dropped a 62-41 decision to West Marshall here last Friday night.

Sam Koehnk scored 15 points to lead the Hawks, as Luke Martensen added seven. Ben Swenson and Kaden Dean each had six.

“I was very happy with the effort all around and the improvement we are making,” South Hamilton head coach Jay Heeren said. “We are making effort, desire and believing in what we can do.

“We just need to keep attacking on offense and get some of our good, open looks to fall.”

Ryan Oskvig had four points and Jose Babcock three for the Hawks, who are off until Jan. 2 when they host Prairie City-Monroe.

Starting at $3.46/week.
