As we head into 2026, the official race schedule for Karl Chevorlet Hamilton County Speedway has been released.

The action hits the semi-banked dirt oval track on April 4 with the Icebreaker and season opening event. Modifieds, Stock Cars, B-Mods, Hobby Stocks and Crown Vics are all set for action.

Less than two weeks later will be the opening night of the Iron Man on April 17 with Stock Cars, B-Mods, Hobby Stocks and Crown Vics competing for cash prizes. Night two of the Iron Man weekend concludes on April 18.

Two events are scheduled for May, as $10 Saturday night will take place May 9 and $5 fan appreciation night will be May 30.

The Bob and Dean Flaws Memorial is set for June 20 with the Bill Rice Memorial a week later. July 11 will be the Mike Baker Memorial.

Hamilton County Fair nights of racing are on the calendar for July 22-23 with the Central Iowa Truck Pullers Association taking place July 24 and the HCSRA Hall of Fame Night being held July 25.

Trailer Races and Train Race night is planned for July 26.

August 22 will be the United States Modified Touring Series in action and August 29 is the season championships. Two events are planned in October with the final scheduled night of racing being October 24.
