Hawks wrestle at Doug Wood Invite
JEWELL — The South Hamilton wrestling team was in action here Saturday at the Doug Wood Invitational hosted by Manson Northwest Webster.
The Hawks finished eighth overall, as Woodbury Central claimed team gold followed by Alta-Aurelia and the host Cougars.
Leading the way for South Hamilton was Brody Harris, as the heavyweight placed third overall. Harris earned three wins, including two falls, winning his last three matches on the day.
Holden Moore and Parker Stuck both placed fourth for the Hawks, as Kyler Ziesman and Garrett Rogers were fifth. Hagen Klein and Trace Junker finished sixth overall.
South Hamilton heads to Maxwell for a quadrangular with Baxter, Knoxville and Nevada on Thursday.
