Hawks can’t slow R-S
STORY CITY — The South Hamilton boys fell to Roland-Story here Tuesday night, 75-15.
The Norsemen used a 21-2 run to start the game to take control, going up 42-10 at the break to earn a fourth consecutive win over the Hawks in the series.
“For us to compete, we have to play the style that fits us,” South Hamilton head coach Jay Heeren said. “I have to get the boys to come together and work together on both offense and defense.
“Our vision and understanding is going to take some time to get where we can compete.”
Ben Swenson tallied four points for South Hamilton, as Luke Thoreson led Roland-Story with 21.
Up next for the Hawks will be West Marshall in Jewell on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
