Webster City’s Savitski, Tempel honored by NCC

The Webster City softball team had two players make the all-North Central Conference teams in senior Cloe Savitski and freshman Morgan Tempel.
Savitski was placed on the second squad after leading the league in runners thrown out from her catcher position with eight. She was also second in stolen bases with 15, and she added 12 runs, eight hits, four RBI and one home run in 14 games.
Tempel, who earned third-team honors, hit .516 in 11 NCC games, recording 14 hits with two doubles and seven RBI. She also stole three bases.
Webster City went 7-18 this summer, finishing 3-11 in the league.
