Rice Memorial will be next Saturday at Hamilton County Speedway

The next night of racing action at historic Hamilton County Speedway is set for Saturday, June 28, with the Bill Rice Memorial.

The event will feature the Tri-State Late Model Series along with Super Late Models, USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and Crown Vics.

Pits open at 4 p.m. with grandstands opening an hour later. The pill draw closes at 6:30 p.m., with hot laps and 7 p.m.

Racing will follow.

General admission tickets are $20 for adults over 17, seniors and military with juniors (12-16) getting in free with a student I.D. Anyone under 11 is also free to enter the gates.

Pit passes will be available for adults ($40) and youth (ages 6-10 for $20).

This will be the first time the Tri-State Late Models have raced on the half-mile semi-banked dirt track, with the stop being the second of three through Britt and Mason City.

Remaining scheduled dates for racing at the track include Thunder Night Thunder on July 24, Malvern Bank 360 Sprint Car Series on July 25, Hall of Fame/Kids Night on July 26, Eve of Destruction Trailer Races on July 27 and the Mike Baker Memorial on Aug. 16.
