Rampage tryouts coming up for 2026 campaign
The Webster City Rampage Baseball Club will have its first round of player evaluations for the upcoming season on Tuesday, June 24, at Nokomis Field.
Tryouts are open to all boys and girls ages 8-13 interested in competing for Rampage in the 2026 season. The club is “dedicated to fostering skill development, sportsmanship and a love of the game among youth players in the Webster City community,” according to a Rampage press release.
Please have kids bring appropriate attire, gloves, and any necessary equipment. Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the designated times to check in.
The evaluations are at 6 p.m. A second evaluation session will be held on Friday, June 27, at the Stratford Baseball Field — again, at 6 p.m.
Troy Stockdale has partnered Rampage with North Central Iowa Elite to create this feeder system, which blends travel ball with traditional youth town leagues. Diamond in the Rough, a state-of-the-art indoor facility, is used for training and offseason practices.
Training sessions for older athletes (ages 11-13) run from January through April. The younger groups (ages 8-10) begin in April.
