Racing returns to historic Hamilton CS

Racing returns to the historic Hamilton County Speedway this weekend, as the Flaw’s Brothers Memorial Race featuring Real Racing Wheels Northern Lights Modified Series invades the track.

This marks race No. 3 for half-mile semi-banked dirt oval and the series this season. A total of 67 drivers have competed in the first two events of the Real Racing Wheels Northern Lights Modified Series.

Winners from those two races were Joe Chisholm and Brandon Davis.

Along with the modified series, the KS Engineering USRA Irion Man Stock Car series presented by Terminator Chassis will be ran, with USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and Crown Vics joining in on the action.

The last time racing action was held at Karl Chevrolet Hamilton County Speedway was in April with the 15th annual Spring Classic Summit USMTS National Championship presented by RacinDirt.

PIts open at 4 p.m., grandstands at 5 p.m. with hot laps starting at 6:45 p.m. and racing to follow. Tickets are $17 for seniors, $22 for adults and anyone under 18 free with either a high school ID (12-to-18 years old) or an adult (11-and-under).

On June 28, the Bill Rice Memorial featuring Tri-State Late Model Series will be held at the track.

Starting at $3.46/week.
