The Webster City baseball team picked up a 7-5 victory over Newell-Fonda here last Friday night.

Braylon Dyvig drove in three runs with a pair of doubles, Carter Mickelson had two RBI and earned the win on the mound in relief, and Matthew Tesdahl added an RBI at the plate with three runs scored.

Tesdahl also struck out five in just over four innings of work.

Gavin Griffith scored twice.

Last Saturday, the Lynx dropped a pair of games to Urbandale in Rippey at Walt Anderson Field.

Alex Staley hit a home run vs. the J-Hawks and Tesdahl had a double with a run scored.

Webster City heads to Storm Lake Tuesday night.
