Lynx crush Roland-Story
The Webster City baseball team rolled past Roland-Story on Friday.
The Lynx (17-12 overall) earned a 16-1 victory over the Norsemen (14-17), powered by 11 hits in four innings.
Jaxon Griffith had three hits for the Lynx, driving in four runs as well.
Keegan Hisler and Josh Stansfield had two hits each. Stansfield had two doubles and drove in two runs, while Hisler had one RBI.
Matthew Tesdahl added a double and three RBI. Braylon Dyvig and Briar Klaver had three and two runs driven in, respectively.
Carter Mickelson also plated a run in the victory for Webster City.
Josh Griep earned the win, allowing only four hits and striking out four.
The Lynx wrap up the regular season on Tuesday at home against Waverly-Shell Rock. First varsity pitch is set for 7:30 p.m.
