HUMBOLDT — The Webster City softball team cruised to a 13-0 victory over Humboldt on Monday night.

Senior Delainey Bargfrede had a strong game in the circle and at the plate for the Lynx (5-1 overall).

Bargfrede was 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run and RBI. She earned the win, allowing only two hits. She struck out 10 batters and walked two.

Classmate Adeline Tesdahl had two hits, including a home run and three RBI.

Ava Peterson had two hits, including a double and drove in a run.

Lydia VanDeer and Jakaela Cherry drove in two runs, while Cloe Savitski, Breanna Bahrenfuss and Ellie Weinschenk had an RBI each.

Cherry had two doubles, while VanDeer and Weinschenk had one each.
