The Webster City baseball team started the week off with a dominating win here Monday night.

Josh Griep tossed a three-hitter and three Lynx batters each drove in two runs as they posted an 11-0 win in five over Hampton-Dumont/CAL.

Griep struck out four and walked just two on the mound, adding a pair of RBI to help his own cause.

Matthew Tesdahl and Aiden Hrnicek each drove in two as Keegan Hisler, Briar Klaver, and Tesdahl all scored twice.

Tesdahl was 3-for-3, Jaxon Griffith, Klaver and Hrnicek each had two hits as Griffith also stole two bases. Tesdahl, Hrnicek and Klaver each had a double and both Hisler and Hrnicek recorded triples.

Webster City (9-6 overall, 4-3 in North Central Conference) scored two in the first, one in the second, two in the third and six in the fourth to end the game early.

The Lynx return to action on Wednesday when they travel to NCC leader Algona.
