A late rally by Boone left the Webster City baseball team on the short end of a 13-8 decision here last Friday night.

The Lynx had a five-run third to take control of the contest before the Toreadors rallied, scoring three in the fourth, four in the fifth and four more in the sixth.

Keegan Hisler, Briar Klaver, Josh Stansfield, Trevyn Lyons, Josh Griep and Braylon Dyvig all had two hits each for Webster City, as Hisler and Dyvig each scored twice. Lyons drove in a pair and had a double.

Klaver and Aiden Hrnicek each drove in a run. Jaxon Griffith reached twice on walks.

Up next for the Lynx (9-8 overall) will be a North Central Conference matchup on Monday night at Rogers Park in Fort Dodge vs. St. Edmond.
