Webster City boys soccer players recognized

Five members of the Webster City boys soccer team were named first team all-North Central Conference for 2024.
Senior Eduardo Perez, junior Eddy Fuentes and freshman Edwin Nolasco Ramos were all unanimous selections, with juniors Conner Peck and Francisco Ramirez Carmona joining them.
The Lynx, who again reached the state tournament, were co-NCC champions for a second consecutive year with Humboldt.
Freshmen David Villelas and Abasai Ramirez Carmona made the second team, alongside senior Walfre Gonzalez Lopez.
In 11 NCC games, Perez scored 13 goals with 14 assists for 40 points. He had 49 shots and 29 on goal.
Fuentes had a team-leading 28 goals in 11 games with seven assists to give him 63 points, as he attempted 65 shots with 46 coming on goal. Ramos allowed just six goals in 847 minutes of action, making 37 saves.
Peck had five goals and four assists with Carmona adding a goal. Villelas scored four goals and dished out six assists. Lopez had an assist.
