PANORA — The South Hamilton baseball team kicked off their season with a convincing 22-5 victory over Panorama here last week.

The Hawks (1-0 overall) scored seven in the first, five in the second and eight in the sixth to end the contest early.

Andrew Jensen had three hits, driving in five with three runs scored to lead South Hamilton at the plate.

Tjerdan Johnson added three RBI with two hits and two runs, Landon Greufe drove in three with three runs scored and four steals, and Landon Sogard had two RBI with two runs.

Braden Young had two doubles and three hits while Ryland Ubben drew three walks. As a team, the Hawks had 10 walks and two hitters were hit by pitches.

Sogard earned the win, striking out six over two-plus innings.
