Braden Doering’s 39 helped lead the Webster City boys to a win on the golf links over Greene County here Tuesday.

The Lynx finished with a team score of 159, as the Rams fired a 187.

Doering carded his 39 to hold off teammates Cael Nixon, Braylon Plain and Dawson Bertran for top honors. Nixon, Plain and Bertran all shot rounds of 40 with Trevyn Lyons adding a 42 and Briar Klaver a 50.

Doering had a birdie on the par-4 No. 5 hole with four pars on the round.

For the Lynx JV, Luke Firsching shot a 38, Matthew Tesdahl had a 42 and Cole Miller a 45.

Webster City heads to a tournament at the Woodward Golf Club hosted by North Polk on Thursday and the Carroll Kuemper Invitational Friday at Lake Panorama National Golf Course.
