Season opener now Saturday at HCS

Racing action will heat up Hamilton County Speedway this Saturday after weather forced the planned season opener to be scrapped.

The track will feature an “Ice Breaker” event with racing in several categories.

Pits open at 4 p.m., grandstands at 5 p.m. and hot laps start at 6:15 p.m. The first green flag drops at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets range from free for kids under 11 to $15 for adults. Seniors over 62 and military are $12 with juniors (12-16) being $8. Pit pass admission is $30 for adults and $20 for kids.

There will be racing in the Jerry Goebel State Farm Late Models, Olsen Family USRA Modifieds, Seneca Fountry USRA Stock Cars, Stein Heating and Cooling USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and A1 Automotive USRA Tuners.

Events are also scheduled for Saturday, April 20 and Saturday, April 27 this month.
