EARLHAM — The South Hamilton track and field teams took home a pair of Top-3 finishes here Tuesday night at the Earlham Coed Relays.

The Hawk boys finished second overall to ACGC while the girls were third behind Gilbert and Van Meter.

Kolby Hodnefield captured the 100-meter dash and ran on both the winning sprint medley and 4×200 relays.

Jonathan Drake (400) and Ty Koehnk (800) were runners-up.

For the girls, Daytona Ferrie claimed the discus title, Isabel Swenson was the high jump runner-up and both Ashlyn Erickson (400) and Kendra Hoversten (discus) had third place finishes.

All nine relays for the boys and girls finished in the Top-6.

Next race action for South Hamilton will be Thursday when they head to Manson.
