Grossoehme wins 800 in Humboldt

HUMBOLDT — Isabel Grossoehme put together a perfect 800, capturing first place here Monday night at the Wildcat Relays.

Grossoehme clocked a time of 2:33.3, finishing just a second ahead of runner-up Hannah Landwehr from St. Edmond.

Cloe Savitski added a silver in the 100 for the Lynx, who had three relays all place third.

The 4×100 of Savitski, Olivia Gallentine, Ellie Weinschenk and Tristyn Wright grabbed third, as did the 4×800 of Rosemary Chamness, Lydia VanDeer, Sydney Oswald and Charlee Olson.

Tesdahl, Gallentine, Savitski and Grossoehme paired up to finish third in the sprint medley relay.

Adysen Poppen was fourth in the shot put with the 4×200 of Wright, Tesdahl, Weinschenk and Nalani Buakham, along with the distance medley of Buakham, Lexi Scism, Alondra Johnson and Chamness placing fifth.

Weinschenk was sixth in the high jump, Tesdahl seventh in the 400 hurdles and Tateelina Vankham seventh in the long jump.

Mirami Pantoja-Gonzalez (400), Scism (long jump), Adysen Poppen (discus) and the 4×400 all won junior varsity races.:
