CEDAR FALLS — Members of the South Hamilton boys track and field team got in some early action here Monday at the Dickinson Relays.

In the final heat of the last event of the night, the Hawk 4×400 relay of Nick Severseike, Reece Ricke, Kolby Hodnefield and Ty Koehnk finished second to Iowa City West. The quartet clocked a time of 3:32.15 in the seventh heat, besting the likes of West Des Moines Valley, Wst Des Moines Dowling and Waukee.

Severseike raced to 11th in the 400 with a time of 53.41, as Koehnk and Ricke were both in the Top-20 in the event.

Koehnk finished 14th in 53.77 and Ricke was 20th in 54.15.

Koehnk also placed 22nd in the 200 in 23.80 with Ricke finishing 36th in the 200 in 24.28.

Hodnefield was 25th in the 200 (23.87) and 28th in the 60 (7.23).
