The South Hamilton girls’ and boys’ track teams were both in Huxley for a coed meet on Tuesday, but timing issues and the weather forced the festivities to be cut short.

Ballard’s automatic timing system stopped working early in the meet, and officials eventually pulled the plug following the 4×200-meter relay.

No event results will be used for potential Drake Relays qualifications.

The South Hamilton boys’ team will host its home invite this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. The girls’ squad is scheduled to travel north to take part in the Belmond-Klemme Invite on Friday.
