WEBSTER CITY — Iowa Falls-Alden’s deep and talented boys’ tennis lineup had its way with Webster City yesterday afternoon at the WCHS courts.

Using 12 different players — no Cadet played both singles and doubles — Iowa Falls-Alden swept the six singles matches with ease and ran away with an 8-1 dual-meet victory.

The Cadets lost just eight games during singles and won all six bouts in straight sets.

The WCHS doubles team of Heath Patterson and George Vila allowed the team to avoid the shutout. In the No. 3 match, they ousted the Cadets’ Riley Corbin and Cody Hicketheir in straight sets 6-4, 7-5.

Evan Estlund and Chase Black won seven games in a 6-3, 6-4 doubles loss to the Cadets.
