WEBSTER CITY – Tickets to the Webster City football team’s Class 3A state semifinal game against Glenwood are already on sale and can be purchased at the Administration Building, 820 Des Moines Street, until Thursday at 12:30 p.m.

Cost of the tickets is $10. They can also be purchased at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, the site of Thursday evening’s 5:30 p.m. contest. Gates at the UNI-Dome will open at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The school is offering a pep bus at the cost of $5 per person for those that wish to be in attendance on Thursday. Please call the high school at 832-9210 for more information.

There will be a community wide pep rally for the team Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. at the Prem Sahai Auditorium.

Sixth-ranked Webster City (10-1) takes an eight-game winning streak into the game against 10th-ranked Glenwood (9-2). It is the Lynx first appearance in the state semifinal round since 1986.

Webster City advanced to the semifinals on the strength of a 21-19 quarterfinal victory over Boone on Friday. Glenwood reached the final four by knocking off third-ranked Carroll, 30-27.
