Lynx JV throttles Cadets, finishes a perfect 5-0

IOWA FALLS – The Webster City junior varsity football team concluded a perfect season with a 56-17 rout of Iowa Falls-Alden here on Monday.

The Lynx allowed just 29 points all season in ripping off a 5-0 record. Carson Struchen and Jacob Hirsch led the unit with interceptions against the Cadets.

Behind an imposing wall of blockers that included Henry Hoversten, Austin Lampman, Rocco Miller, Kooper Jondal, Hunter Collicott, Jordan McFarland, Jonathon Dixson and Harrison Hayes, Webster City ran the ball at will against Iowa Falls-Alden.

Sophomore tailback Trace Kepler went over 200 yards and scored five touchdowns on sprints of 90, 7, 21, 18 and 51 yards. Three of his trips to the end zone occurred in the first half to help the Lynx build a 26-9 advantage at the intermission.

Noah Perfect also scored a pair of touchdowns and collected more than 100 yards on the ground. He broke free on a 46-yard scoring run in the first half and added a 51-yard scamper to the house in the second half.
