The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation (EHCF) is making a positive, local impact by offering a variety of giving tools to help people achieve their charitable giving goals to make an impact in Hamilton County that lasts forever. An outright gift of cash is quick and simple. However, there are other assets you may consider contributing to a charitable fund through the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation that could provide even more tax advantages.

For instance, if you are looking to eliminate the potential of capital gains tax, you might want to consider a charitable donation consisting of a long-term appreciated stock or other securities such as an IRA distribution. By making a charitable donation of this type, your cause benefits and you receive a charitable deduction plus eliminate any capital gains tax.

EHCF give donors seven gift types, other than cash, as options to meet their charitable giving goals. These include outright gifts of securities, gifts of real estate, gifts of retirement plan assets, outright gifts of personal property, gifts of life insurance, retained life estates, and bequests. EHCF ensures Hamilton County’s charitable programs and projects are supported now and in the future.
