Webster City Community Schools. Public funds should not fund private schools

To the editor: I attended the Webster City Community School Board Candidate Forum on October 27 and was very impressed with the quality, sincerity, passion and commitment of each of the candidates. Mason supports the renewal of the Iowa Central bond

To the editor: On November 4th, we have the opportunity to renew Iowa Central Community College's bond without raising our property tax rate. This is simply a continuation of the current levy that has already proven its value to students, families, and taxpayers alike. Van Diest encourages renewal of Iowa Central bond

To the editor: Tuesday, November 4, is election day. One of the items on the ballot is a request from Iowa Central Community College to renew an existing bond. This renewal will not increase your property tax rate. The average home owner currently pays $2.08 per month for this. This rate will not increase and it helps Iowa Central provide needed training programs. Iowa Central Community College is continuing its mission to help prepare students, support employers, and strengthen communities across North Central Iowa.
