The Doodle Bug Club of America would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Webster City community for the warm welcome and wonderful hospitality shown to our members during this year's reunion.This year, we welcomed riders from as far away as Alaska, Florida, New Hampshire, New York, California, and many other states. Some members were attending a Doodle Bug reunion for the first time, and the experience was so enjoyable that they are already looking forward to returning next year.
It would be impossible to thank everyone individually who helped make our annual reunion such a success, but we want the entire community to know how much we appreciate your kindness, support, and generosity. The many people who give their time and assistance help make this event special, and our club and its members are truly grateful.
Thank-you to the City of Webster City and the Webster City Police Department for welcoming our Doodle Bugs into the community and helping make our rides safe and enjoyable. We also sincerely appreciate The Daily Freeman-Journal and KQWC for their coverage and promotion of our event.
One of the highlights of this year's reunion was our ride to Kamrar for a pizza lunch. Approximately 30 members rode their scooters to Kamrar, where nearly 60 members joined us for lunch. We are especially grateful to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department for providing an escort to Kamrar and safely accompanying us back to Webster City.
Each year, our members are reminded of what makes Webster City and the surrounding area so special. The friendliness of the people, the community support, and the many things to see and do make our reunion an event we look forward to year after year.
Thank you, Webster City, for making our members feel so welcome and for helping create memories we will carry with us long after the reunion is over. We are truly grateful for your continued support of the Doodle Bug Club of America.
