Teig endorses Klaver for House seat in District 55
To the voters of House District 55:
As a former State Representative, I rarely endorse candidates in a primary, but I have met Beau personally and I’m quite impressed with his candidacy.
So I am endorsing Beau Klaver to fill the position that I once held in the June 2nd Republican Primary. Beau is an impressive young man who will bring intelligent common sense to this office. Beau already has demonstrated the ability to listen to the people of this district and comprehend complex difficult issues facing the Iowa legislature.
Also, Beau has the friendship and respect of fellow legislators from his time working as a clerk in the Iowa Senate. That is why I and other legislators are endorsing him to be your next State Representative.
Beau’s creation of his ag drone business means we will be electing someone who is aware of how technology is changing our lives. We need to support young, bright people who have maturity and intelligence to help contribute to our state’s future.
That insight came in part from his education at Iowa State where he was awarded the Carolyn Ullestad Unsung Hero Award for top philanthropic leader at Iowa State. He was a part of the rural entrepreneurial academy, and he has been to Brazil twice to study Brazilian Agriculture, and then over to Germany to study European Agriculture through this program. He made the dean’s list for 5 out of 7 semesters.
I ask the voters of Hamilton, Franklin, and parts of Story and Wright Counties to join me in voting for Beau Klaver.
Russ Teig,
Former Iowa Representative
Jewell
