To the editor:

As a proud member of this community and a local business owner, I have been closely following the school board and city council campaigns. One name stands out to me in the school board race: Ariel Bertran. Ariel is a community leader and a dedicated mother with children in our schools. She is driven, dedicated, and hard-working.

She believes in our teachers and is committed to giving them the support, respect, and tools they need to succeed.

She believes in our students and is determined to create the programs, experiences, and resources that help them reach their full potential.

She believes in our community, and she is ready to lead us forward with vision, integrity, and passion.

Ariel is bold enough to imagine a brighter future, grounded enough to make that future achievable, and passionate enough to put our students, teachers and families at the center of every decision. She understands the importance of being responsible with taxpayer dollars while still striving for excellence in our schools. Her leadership is rooted in optimism and purpose.

She recognizes that challenges will arise, but she approaches them with a solutions-oriented mindset, always looking forward to what can be achieved rather than dwelling on the past. Ariel inspires those around her to think bigger, aim higher, and work together to make meaningful progress.

What truly sets Ariel apart is her forward-looking vision. She believes in learning from the past,

but her eyes, her heart, and her energy are focused on building a brighter future for our schools, our students, our teachers, and our entire community. She knows that we honor our past by learning from it, but we respect our future by building it. That means asking tough questions, making thoughtful decisions, and never losing sight of what our children need to succeed.

She sees what is possible, inspires others to dream bigger, and works every day to make those dreams a

reality.

Our community deserves a leader like Ariel Bertran. Someone who doesn’t just follow, but listens, engages and leads with heart and clarity. She believes in our schools, our teachers, our students, and our shared future. She balances big-picture vision with careful responsibility for our community’s resources, ensuring every decision is made thoughtfully and wisely for the benefit of all.

With Ariel leading the way, we can embrace the lessons of the past while creating the opportunities, resources, and programs that will allow our children to thrive. She has the vision, the dedication, and the leadership to help our community grow stronger and achieve more than we ever thought possible.
