To the editor:

I wanted to give a shout out to all the organizations and volunteers that set up and manned the booths at the Fall Festival at Wilson Brewer Park on Saturday October 12.

There were a great number of parents and kids having a good time at the petting zoo, the pumpkin painting, touring the log cabins, school house, Depot, and the Mulberry Center Church.

I would like to thank everyone who did all the hard work to make this event successful. The Wilson Brewer Park Foundation board members, Hamilton County Veterans Affairs, American Legion Post 191 members provided the food and drinks, the Petting Zoo and all the animals, state Rep. Shannon Latham for providing all the pumpkins for painting, and anyone else that I may have forgotten.

From my perspective the event looked like a total success. Thank you for providing a fun day for everyone who attended.
