I am opposed to the proposed splash pad project
To the editor:
I am OPPOSED to the splash pad installation in East Twin Park for the following reasons:
1) There is NO RETURN ON THE INVESTMENT
2) There is ALREADY A SPLASH PAD ACROSS THE STREET at the outdoor pool
3) It would REDUCE REVENUE at the outdoor pool
4) It WASTES water
5) It WASTES money needed for the huge projects we actually need
All things considered, this project just doesn’t end up anywhere but IN THE RED.
Please do not waste our money on this project.
