To the Editor:

On behalf of the Webster City Rotary Club, I am writing to express our deepest gratitude to the community for their incredible support of our Annual Rotary Turkey Dinner, held this year on October 15th at the Briggs Woods Conference Center.

While we encountered some unexpected logistical challenges that affected timing and food availability, the grace and understanding extended by our community were both humbling and invaluable. We’re actively addressing the challenges from this year’s event to ensure a smoother experience for everyone in future years.

We’re thrilled to report that, despite the challenges, the event was a success serving over 1,480 meals. The overwhelming response we received reaffirms what we’ve always known: Webster City is a community of compassion and unity. Each meal served helps us fund invaluable local causes that make our community stronger and more vibrant.

A special shoutout to the staff at Briggs Woods Conference Center who rolled up their sleeves to assist us — your exceptional service and teamwork were instrumental in pulling off this event successfully. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to the Hamilton County Secondary Roads, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, and the Webster City Community School District for their contributions.

Thank you, Webster City, for coming together and supporting the Rotary’s ongoing commitment to making our community a better place for all.
