To the Editor:

Though the Friends of the Library book sale is only held twice a year, the acceptance and sorting of books is a year round process. The books can be dropped off anytime at Kendall Young Library.

There are a few stipulations though. We cannot accept any books that are moldy, musty or damaged in anyway. If you don’t want them, no one else will either, and then the burden of disposal falls on the Friends of the Library board. Also, we will no longer accept any sets of books, such as encyclopedias, Readers Digest condensed books, or college text books.

Thank you for your donations. Without you, there would be no book sale.
