Iowa nice is alive and well
To the Editor:
This is to acknowledge the help I received from a Webster City gentleman in September. I did not get his name and he refused any payment.
I was on my way from Cedar Rapids to my class reunion in Jewell when I encountered tire problems just off Highway 20. This fine man helped me with my tire and then followed me all the way to the Interstate.
From there I drove to Jewell where my brother from Ken’s Service repaired my almost flat tire and Sandy got me to the reunion. A good time was had from there, thanks to these good people.
