To the Editor:

On behalf of all of the members of the Hamilton County Peace Officers Association, I would like to take this time to thank everyone who came out to support our Pack the Paddy Wagon Food Drive and Special Olympics Cook-Out Fundraiser.

A special thank you to the following for their help with this event: Webster City Hy-Vee for their contribution of buns, burgers, grill and equipment and their assistance with this event, Webster City Custom Meats for supplying the brats, Pepsi Co. and Tony Nessa (Tony’s Tire).

It was a huge success with roughly 30 large boxes of food items being collected for local food pantries and will benefit many individuals and families in Hamilton County during the upcoming holiday season. Over $900 was raised to assist Hamilton County Special Olympians as well.
